How to Add a Proxy to Multilogin
Connect a Multilogin browser profile to a custom Typroxy proxy. Select the custom option, enter your connection details, and check the proxy before you save and launch your profile.

Before you start
Get your proxy details from Dashboard → Proxies. You'll need the host, port, username and password.
Replace HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD in the examples with your own details. Use the port that matches your connection type.
Set up your proxy in Multilogin
Step 1: Create a new browser profile.
Step 2: In the proxy settings, choose a custom proxy (not Multilogin's built-in proxy).
Step 3: Select the proxy type, then enter host (
HOST), port (PORT), username (USERNAME) and password (PASSWORD).Step 4: Click "Check proxy" and save the profile.
Button names can differ between app versions. If you can't find one, look for the Proxy section in the profile's settings.
Check it worked
Open https://api.ipify.org?format=json through the proxy. The IP shown should be your proxy's IP, not your own.
Open that address inside the configured profile, not an ordinary browser window. A rotating proxy's IP can change between requests.
Troubleshooting
- 407 Proxy Authentication Required
- Username or password is wrong; copy them again from the dashboard.
- Connection timed out / refused
- Check host and port, and that the proxy is Active (not expired) in the dashboard.
- IP shows my own address
- The proxy isn't applied; re-check the settings and restart the browser profile or script.
- Wrong country
- Check which location you bought in the dashboard.
